You have been using your for months and have been hearing about special features that are on it-which you can not use. Most cellular phones have special features that are available only if you work with your provider to have them unlocked. But, if you do not know what these features are, how do you know whether or not you even want them?

Did you know that you could increase the call quality and decrease battery life by punching in a special code? There are also codes for functions like speed dialing, adding software and information on your phone's model.
Mobile phone unlocking products are divided into On-Site unlocking that requires you to mail in your phone and Remote unlocking products which provides convenient mobile phone unlocking from the your home or office. Now, which do you have? You probably do not know.

Your first step should be to read your owner's manual. Yes, read the manual. None of us ever do this unless something goes wrong. Why would anyone ever want to read the tedious, long winded, legalized terminology? Well, everything you need to know about unlocking your cellular phone may be contained in your manual. Take the time to at least skim through it to see what it does say before you do anything that might damage your phone.

Still not sure what features are hidden and whether or not you can unlock your cellular phone? Ask your teenager or someone else in the age range of 13-25. They will probably know what to do and will be able to do quickly. This is definitely better than spending hours playing around and guessing what to do next. There
